The Flex-Cover® Door is a high-strength flood barrier engineered for single or double doors. It provides watertight and impact-resistant protection by combining a structural frame, water barrier and impact-resistant layers with advanced compression gaskets. A Flex-Cover Door can also be joined with another (with center posts) to cover larger openings. With the addition of a corner post, it can even be configured to allow doorway egress when required. It can be stored near the point-of-use for deployment in minutes. Plus, it’s ANSI-compliant and FM approved.

FLEX-COVER® DOOR BENEFITS

  • Rapid Deployment – Using pre-installed anchors mounted into the structure, deployment can be performed by one or two people in minutes.
  • Watertight Seals – Its advanced compression gaskets provide a watertight seal on the ground and wall interfaces using a unique compression system. The bottom gasket is automatically protected when the barrier is removed from position for storage, ensuring watertight sealing for the next weather event.
  • Designed For Most Standard Door Openings And Up To 6’ Water Protection Heights – Product configurations include openings up to 48” (single door) and openings up to 86” (double doors) and 2’ and 4’ heights (available in both widths). Panels can be stacked for a total of 6′ DFE. It’s compliant with the ANSI/FM 2510 American National Standard for Flood Abatement Equipment for Openings and ASCE 7-10.
